Hidden in tranquil seclusion, Barnacre Green Cottage awaits, a mere 400 meters past our other two delightful cottages along Barnacre Lane, our farm road. This enchanting retreat is ideal for couples and families alike. All on a single level, it graciously accommodates 6 to 8 guests within two inviting family bedrooms – the master, a sanctuary featuring a King bed alongside a single, and the second, a cosy haven with a double bed plus a single. For those seeking extra sleeping arrangements, the living area boasts an additional sofa bed. A travel cot, complete with snug bedding, is also at your disposal for your little adventurers. We regret that loud parties or gatherings exceeding the cottage's capacity are strictly prohibited. It is imperative to respect our neighbours at all times, with quiet hours enforced from 11pm to 7am.

The living area boasts generous seating, a snug log burner, soft blankets, a smart TV, and a Bluetooth speaker. This open-plan haven—where living, kitchen, and dining converge—offers an ideal social space that gracefully flows into the enchanting courtyard, adorned with a variety of outdoor seating, a splendid hot tub, a charcoal barbecue, and our charming Shepherd’s hut. Enjoy direct access to the play area and the inviting swimming pool nearby.

The cottage is equipped with a charming yet fully appointed kitchen, featuring a free-standing electric cooker and hob, a double Ninja air fryer, a microwave, and a toaster. Complete with an array of utensils and equipment, a kettle, and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. An undercounter fridge with a freezer compartment and a rustic Belfast sink add to the allure.

A beautiful bathroom featuring a generous free-standing bath (spacious enough for two!) perfect for a tranquil soak amidst swirling bubbles beckons. An overhead shower awaits, alongside a sink and toilet, all adorned with delightful decor.

The cottage is a dream come true for eco-warriors looking to tiptoe on Mother Nature's carpet! This cosy hideaway, with its charming green oak frame and lime panels, feels like a snug hug from the past, minus the guilt trip. Every piece of this puzzle was picked for its planet-friendly vibes—no paint here, just pure limewash goodness. Barnacre Green cottage is like a tiny superhero, self-sufficient in energy, water, and waste management. It's a little slice of eco-heaven!

Behold the array of amenities: plastic cutlery for tiny hands, protective fire guards, cosy baby baths, travel cots adorned with soft bedding, high-chairs for delightful meals, playful pool toys, a shimmering swimming pool, and a whimsical play area. And if the treasures mentioned above fail to enchant you, allow us to unveil our newest jewel – the Baa’rnacre Shepherd’s Hut. Tucked away in the enchanting Green Cottage courtyard and exclusively reserved for guests of Green Cottage, Baa’rnacre Hut serves as a delightful retreat for children and an additional sleeping space for up to four. It can be configured as four cosy bunks, two singles, or a luxurious king-size bed. The hut boasts a private living area and a bathroom complete with a sink, toilet, and shower. Available as an enchanting extra (Sunday-Thursday £100/night, Friday & Saturday £150/night).

Here at Barnacre, we are truly fortunate to present to you a quarter Olympic-length swimming pool. The Barnacre Private Pool is a shared facility among the three charming cottages; however guests reserve their own exclusive, private time (approximately 2 hours) within the hours from 9am to 5pm. The pool is fully heated, accompanied by a delightful array of pool toys, a soothing indoor hot tub, and a private area for changing, complete with a toilet and generously provided towels. A simple online booking system ensures that your chosen moments of serenity remain undisturbed, providing privacy during your delightful escape from fellow visitors.
