Located in the peaceful village of Saughall Massie on the Wirral Peninsula, Green Cottage is an ideal choice for couples and families looking for comfort, privacy, and great facilities. Situated just 400 metres from our other two cottages along Barnacre Lane, this single-level property sleeps 6–8 guests.
Inside, you’ll find two spacious family bedrooms:

The open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area creates a relaxed, social space with plenty of seating, a log burner, smart TV, and Bluetooth speaker. From here, doors lead directly to the courtyard, where you’ll find outdoor seating, a charcoal BBQ, your own private hot tub, and the optional Shepherd’s Hut.
The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker and hob, double Ninja air fryer, microwave, toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, undercounter fridge with freezer compartment, and a Belfast sink.
The bathroom features a large free-standing bath, overhead shower, sink, and toilet.
Family-friendly facilities are a priority here, with baby baths, highchairs, travel cots, plastic cutlery, fire guards, pool toys, and an outdoor play area all provided.
Optional Shepherd’s Hut – Baa’rnacre Hut is available as an extra sleeping space (up to four people) with its own living area and bathroom. Beds can be configured as four bunks, two singles, or a king-size. Available Sun–Thu £100/night, Fri–Sat £150/night.
Swimming Pool – Guests enjoy exclusive-use sessions (approx. 2 hours) between 8am–6pm in our heated indoor pool. Facilities include pool toys, an indoor hot tub, changing rooms, and towels. Sessions are booked via our simple online system to guarantee privacy.
Fishing Lake – All guests have access to our beautiful on-site lake, perfect for a peaceful afternoon by the water.
With sandy beaches, pubs, and restaurants within a 10-minute walk, Green Cottage offers a well-equipped, comfortable base for your Wirral getaway.
